Source Selection Elements

Source Selection or "Source Mapping" elements provide flexible control over the user- or application-controlled selection of Search Sources. These elements can be used to provide explicit source selection or categorical, hierarchical or user-preference driven data source selection. The source mapping elements are tied to the User interface via Source Selection Controls.

BasicSourceMap - Represents a single set of SearchSources. Maps a set of parameter=value pairs to one or more search sources.
CategorySourceMap - Simple source map that relates a "category" ID or key to one or more search sources.
DynamicSourceMap - Provides a two-stage search source map. An initial set of search parameters is used to generate a search result which is then used by a delegate Source Mapper (such as a CategorySourceMap or BasicSourceMap).
SourceMapTree - Defines a hierarchical Source Map Tree. Defines a hierarchy of Source 'types' related to nested SourceMap instances.
